EVERY ZEIGLER/BAILEY BEGINS NOT WITH A PURCHASE, BUT WITH A CONVERSATION.
At its heart, the programme is a comprehensive restoration and engineering journey centred around the classic G‑Series Porsche 911 (1976–1989). Each car begins with a donor vehicle and undergoes a meticulous transformation, resulting in a deeply engineered automobile tailored to its owner.
For many owners, the process of commissioning the car becomes as meaningful as the finished result.
Commissioning journey
-
Every commissioning journey of a Z/B 4.4 begins with a private introduction.
This first conversation is designed to establish context, an understanding of the ZeiglerBailey philosophy, the engineering programme, and the principals that underpin each commission.
More importantly, it is an opportunity to explore your perspective, your relationship with the car and the role it will play in your life.
In both cases, the objective is simple: alignment.
-
The foundation of every Z/B 4.4 is a G-Series 911.
Some clients arrive with a 911 they have owned for many years. Others begin with a desire to commission something entirely their own.
Where required, we can identify and secure an appropriate donor vehicle, one that provides the correct basis for transformation, both structurally and philosophically.
This stage is not simply about sourcing a car. It is about selecting the starting point of the journey.
-
With the programme formally underway, the character of the car begins to take shape.
We work closely with each owner to define a highly considered design direction, spanning exterior finish, interior materials, and a series of subtle yet significant aesthetic decisions.
While the engineering architecture of the Z/B 4.4 remains uncompromising, each commission is shaped through this process into a precise and individual expression.
Bespoke paint development, material selection, and detailed visualisation form part of this phase, bringing clarity and cohesion to the final car.
-
This is the core of the programme.
The donor vehicle is comprehensively restored and re‑engineered through the ZeiglerBailey programme. It includes its carbon fibre structure, selection for right or left hand drive, and the completed body finished in its selected paintwork.
This is followed by a tightly integrated process encompassing interior execution, chassis, powertrain, and full systems development.
Every element of the car is carefully considered and developed to deliver a deeply integrated driving experience, honouring the character of the original Porsche while elevating its performance, precision and craftsmanship .
At this stage of the journey, restoration gives way to transformation.
The result is a cohesive and deeply resolved automobile, engineered as a complete system, rather than assembled as a series of parts.
-
The final stage centres on completion, validation and delivery.
Each Z/B 4.4 undergoes a meticulous process prior to handover, ensuring that every detail reflects the standards and intent established at the very beginning of the journey.
What emerges is the culmination of a deeply personal undertaking, one shaped by engineering, precision and individual vision.
The Z/B 4.4 is the ultimate expression of a 911, and its owner, realised without compromise.
For many, delivery is not an end point, but the beginning of a lasting relationship with their Z/B 4.4, and the philosophy that defines it.Each ZeiglerBailey is supported through ongoing service, and direct access to the team that engineered it. Ownership continues as a relationship, ensuring the car performs, evolves and endures exactly as intended.
